Continually improve PVCSD's multi-layered school safety plans for the benefit of both teachers and students: Police Partnerships, Cyber, Facilities, Resources, Response Plans, Technology, Tactics and Procedures.

Engage PARENTS positively about their student to promote open and meaningful communication across parents, teachers and staff. We share the tough work to grow their children into future leaders.

Our students compete globally for careers and leadership roles.  Readiness for success stems from their knowledge, skills, decision-making and critical thinking underpinned by PV Academics, Music, Theater and Sports.

Value is created by pursuing high academic ethics, standards and culture that attract the best teachers and staff.  Curriculum, funding, planning for future growth while being great stewards of tax revenues is my priority.

Families seek out our community because of a tradition of academic excellence.   I will grow this position for all PV schools to be ranked as High Performing or Exceptional.  We  have more ground to gain!

American exceptionalism began in 1776. Our 247 years of freedom and liberty are an inheritance paid to us with sacrifice. This must live joyfully in the hearts and minds of all our citizens.  This unites us!!!

With 20 years of experience as a PVCSD parent I understand the value of our school district, and will seek collaborative opportunities to maintain and improve them. I am coming ready to work.

The paramount person in my life is my wife Ana. We met and married when I was on assignment in Brazil.  She has taught at all grade levels in Brazil and done educational volunteerism since immigrating to the USA. She has also taught me to speak Portuguese with high cultural and business fluency!

My most valuable DoD career experiences were leading people and teams.  Whether as a combat aircrewman, to OIC for Aviation Survivability in Afghanistan, the E-6B Mission Systems IPT Leader for Nuclear Command, Control & Communications, or Executive Officer for Fleet Readiness Center (Reserve).

My 3 decade career allowed me to work, travel and live globally with demonstrated performance solving cross-functional business challenges in industrial, defense and international arenas. My personal leadership style is with high motivation for team collaboration on Strategy and Mission Success metrics.

After leaving high school, I spent 5 fulfilling years traveling the world with the Marines before I was encouraged by my Squadron XO and family to go back to school.  Helicopter flight systems drove a high curiosity for wanting to learn Engineering.  I went to school on the GI Bill and graduated from University of Illinois with Honors.

Desert Storm '90, OIF '06, and OEF '12 Formative experiences of life and friendships during high operational tempo and mission success accountability.  Military life propelled my personal faith in God and valuing the importance of grace and humility during difficult times.
